The idea for Café Grillades
came out of a honeymoon trip to Europe by Samy and Genet
Fars, owners of the former Crepes du Monde in San Bruno.

Expanding their original desire to recreate the authentic
savory and sweet crepes they found in France, the paninis
and gelato of Italy, Mediterranean inspired salads, and
the grilled skewers and authentic couscous plates of the
Iberian and North African coast, the Fars’ also
offers “ all hours breakfast” with unique
baked goods (decidedly not your usual pastries) and “make
your own” omelets.
